LG KC910i Renoir

LG Renoir is the successor of the Viewty, also a touchscreen phone. It is only 14mm thick but has 8-megapixel camera with Xenon flash, Schneider-Kreuznach and, geo tagging and lots of other features. Video can be captured in VGA resolution at 30fps or in QVGA at up to 120fps for slow motion effect. It is the first LG for the global market with Dolby sound for better music and video sound. For video playback, it features both DivX and XviD and the TV-out allows for previewing on a large screen. It is quad-band GSM with HSDPA 7.2 Mbps and WiFi support.

A new Samsung handset has been spotted at the Mobile World Congress held in Barcelona these days, dubbed Samsung Valencia. The interesting fact about this device is that it hasn't been showcased by the phone maker, as anyone would expect, but it can be seen on Microsoft's area, where the latest Windows Mobile-powered models run freely.

Nokia has finally announced their first 8 MegaPixel phone. The phone is called N86 and it will now compete with the likes of Samsung Memoir and Samsung Omnia i8910 HD. The phone comes with a wide-angle Carl Zeiss Tessar lens and can be compared to a high quality stand alone digital camera capturing brilliant and wide angle images.

Sony Ericsson announced a new concept phone the 12 mega pixel Idou and the very-much alive, soon to be released 8 megapixel Walkman phone, the W995.
Sony Ericsson's announcement comes just as Mobile World Congress, a huge technology conference focusing on mobile devices and services, gets underway in Barcelona.
The Idou :Sony Ericsson's new handset could render digital cameras obsolete by offering as many megapixels as many semi-professional and consumer cameras.
The Idou will also compete directly with Apple's hugely popular iPhone, and features a 3.5in widescreen touch-screen and powerful flash for high quality photos. It also has all the capabilities of Sony Ericsson's Walkman range of phones, which means it can be used for music and video playback as well as taking pictures. The device will run the Symbian mobile phone operating system, and users will be able to download extra software and applications to their device.
The Idou will of course sport a massive 12 megapixel camera and not to mention, Xenon flash. The screen is a massive 3.5 incher with 16:9 aspect ratio. These are the only official specs that we know of. But the phone is expected to be (obviously) WiFi and GPS capable and will also sport a microSD card slot. The OS will be Symbian Series 60 Fifth edition successor, the foundation OS from Symbian that will see its first version ousted later this year. The final version is expected in 2010. HTC has announced the latest of its flagship handsets with the new beefed-up versions of the Touch Pro and Touch Diamond.
Aptly called the Touch Pro 2 and the Touch Diamond 2, the phones have upped the ante with its features and even its looks.
Let's look at these devices separately.
HTC Touch Diamond 2

The HTC Touch Diamond 2 derives inspiration from the original touch Diamond and sports the same design cues, while going all guns blazing as far as the features are concerned. It now has a larger 3.2-inch, WVGA screen and is now thinner at just 13.7 mm. The camera is a five megapixel unit with auto focus. The interface is the same TouchFLO 3D running over Windows Mobile 6.1. The ROM and RAM figure remain the same: ROM: 512 MB, RAM: 288 MB.
HTC Touch Pro 2

The HTC Touch Pro 2 is a beefed up version of its predecessor and now sports some updated features. The overall package is sexier and the device looks built for purpose. Its features include 512MB of ROM, 288MB of RAM, microSD expansion and a 3.2 megapixel camera. The highlight is obviously the massive 3.6-inch screen with a resolution of 800x400.
Both the devices will be made available by Q2 2009 with the Touch Pro 2 launch expected a bit later.

Nokia has today officialy launched E75 and E55. Both Devices are the first to ship with the company's new email user interface and Nokia Messaging for facilitating corporate email communication.
The display of E75 is a 2.4-inch QVGA one, quite similar to the E71. The phone also sports a 3.5mm headphone jack, 3.2 megapixel camera, built-in VPN, HSDA, 802.11 b/g, EGPRS, Bluetooth, and support for up to 16GB microSD card.
The E75 will be available for 375 Euros (Rs. 23,000). The other phone E55, which looks like a slightly grown-up version of Nokia E51.

This one like the E71 sports has a 2.4-inch QVGA screen, a 3.2 megapixel camera, 3.5 mm headphone jack, 802.11 b/g, EGPRS, and Bluetooth 2.0.
