Samsung Galaxy S Plus I9001 Mobile Review
Samsung Mobiles India recently launched another Android smartphone in India under their Galaxy Series. Samsung launched the new Samsung Galaxy S Plus I9001 in India featuring 1.4 Ghz Processor, Android 2.3 OS, 5 MP Camera, Video calling, 4 Inch Super AMOLED screen, 512 RAM, HD recording and other good smartphone features. Display:
Samsung Glaxy S features a Super AMOLED
capacitive touchscreen with 16M colors and a resolution of 480 x 800 pixels.
The screen size is 4.0 inches with pixel density of233 ppi pixel density. The
display is Gorilla Glass powered by TouchWiz
3.0 UI. There is support for, Multi-touch input method, the phone also has, Accelerometer
sensor for UI auto-rotate, Touch-sensitive controls and a Proximity sensor for
auto turn-off
Size and Design:
Samsung Galaxy S has sllek and slim design.
The phone is light weight with excellent built making looks. It is 122.4mm long
has a width of 64.2mm. It is only 9.9 mm in depth and weighs only 119 g.
Camera:
It is powerd by a 5 MP with a resolution
of2592 x 1944 pixels and autofocus, Geo-tagging, touch focus, The camera also
has image enhancing features such as face and smile detection and also featues geo-tagging. The Video
recording capcbility of the phone is 720p@30fps. IUt also has a seconmdry VGA
camera for video calling and self shooting.
Processor and OS:
The phone runs Android OS, v2.3
(Gingerbread) on a 1.4 GHz Scorpion processor powered by Adreno 205 GPU on a Qualcomm
MSM8255T Snapdragon.
Connectivity:
It supports 3G with HSDPA, 14.4 Mbps and HSUPA,
5.76 Mbps. There is Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, DLNA, Wi-Fi hotspot ,Bluetooth v3.0
with A2DP and v2.0 microUSB. The GPS
with A-GPS connectivity is also available.
Storage Capacity:
The internal
storage capcity of the phone is 8 GB storage with 512 MB RAM and 2 GB ROM. The
external memory can be extended up to 32GB with the help of a micro SD card.
Battery:
The Standard Li-Ion 1650battery is capcble of providing up
to Up to 750 and 625hrs of standby time on 2G and 3G covrage respectively and talk
time Up to 12 h 50 min and Up to 6 h 30 min on 2G and 3G coverage respectively.
The phone provides excellent social
networking integration, digital compass and office applications as well.
