LG Optimus NET P690 Mobile Review India
LG Mobiles India recently launched a Mid-Range Android Smartphone named LG Optimus NET P690 in India at a Price of Rs.9,500. A slim touchscreen phone which runs
on Android V2.3 (Gingerbread) operating system offers a faster web-browsing and
a powerful multimedia data processing. The processor used for this phone is 800
MHz, just enough to play HD games.
The
LG Optimus Net P690 is a successor to the original Optimus One. A more powerful
processor Bluetooth 3.0 and the newer version of Android are the only few
enhanced features.
A resolution of 320 x 480 and a 3.2
inch HGVA display screen is one of the considerable features. Though the camera
quality is not too high, is has 3 Megapixel camera with 4x zoom. However, the
quality of the pictures is good. There isn’t any secondary camera.
Design
The LG Optimus is very slippery as
it comes with a plastic surface. The touch screen is good enough with faster
and a quick navigation.There is a power button on the top. A 3.5 mm audio jack beside the power button is
a port for connecting any generic headphones. USB port is present onto the
right of the phone with a protective cover.
Connectivity
and Features
LG Optimus NET P690 features Wi-Fi
and 3G which enables the faster internet access. Social networking sites like
Facebook, Twitter etc are also supported; so you can share pictures or chat
with your friends and family on social media.
Popular applications like YouTube,
Google Talk are present. It also supports features like NFC
support (for O2 UK), SNS integration, Digital compass, etc.
Music lovers can have a great time
with this phone because of the Music player it supports (MP4/H.264/H.263
player, - MP3/WAV/eAAC+ player).
You
can edit or view you documents through document viewer, editor, and the image
editor helps you in editing the photos (like adding various effects, frames).
It
also has some additional features like sensors (Accelerometer, Digital Compass, Proximity Sensor,
and CMOS Sensor), widgets, Contact backup, voice input, predictive text input,
remote call, PC synchronization, etc. Unlike the original optimus, LG
Optimus is faster and also stylish.

This
handset consists of a 512 MB internal memory which can be extended up to 32 GB.
An SD card of 2 GB is included in the box (in some areas). An unlimited number
of entries and fields can be stored in the phonebook. Photocall feature is
enabled for this phone.
