Nokia launched their latest smartphone in India, Nokia E7, also termed as the latest Nokia Communicator phone. At the first glance E7 looks very much similar to Nokia N8. The major difference between E7 and N8 is the Sliding and Tilting keypad provided to E7, which makes it a communicator phone. Almost most of the features of E7 and N8 are same, they have the same operating system i.e. Symbian ^3. Other common features are 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, USB Support, AMOLED Capactive Touchscreen display, HD Video Recording, GPS and Video Calling.
Now let us look into the major differences between Nokia E7 and Nokia N8:
Form / Input Type:
Nokia E7 excels in its design, it has an advantage over N8 because of the presence of Slide Out QWERTY Keypad. It makes E7 a real Smartphone, with Business as well as Multimedia features. According to me this is going to be the USP of Nokia E7.
Camera:
Here, N8 takes the front seat, Nokia N8 has been Nokia's best in terms of Camera features. N8 has a 12MP Camera with Xenom Flash, E7 has a 8MP Camera with Dual LED Flash. Here N8 wins
Expandable Memory:
Both N8 and E7 has 16GB In-Built Memory, but E7 does not have an external memory slot. N8 is expandable up to 32GB via Micro SD Card
