Dell has launched a new mid-range android mobile phone in India, named as DELL AERO. This young soldier of Dell's Android army runs on the Android 2.1 eclair operating system. It packs a 3.5 inch screen, a 5 megapixel camera and a fair processor to power up the phone. Dell Aero Price in India is Rs.11,699 at Flipkart. At this price launch of a Android mobile sounds quite absurd. It is no doubt very highly priced.
Now let us enlist the technical specifications of this phone to give you a complete review:
PHYSICAL SPECIFICATIONS-Dell Aero is a bar type touchscreen phone with 3.5 inch display at a resolution of 360X640. The screen has a scratch resistant gorilla glass display and supports muti-touch.
OPERATING SYSTEM-This new Android runs on an updated version of android though, i.e. android 2.1 eclair. This is the major drawback of the Dell Aero that is competing against the other mid-range phones in the market which run on the latest android version.
CAMERA-It packs a 5 megapixel shooter on the back which has a descent picture quality. But, it does not have a front camera for video calling.
PROCESSOR-Dell Aero runs on the PXA310 624 MHz processor which provides some juice to the phone to run smoothly. Although, you will notice lags on the main screen and menu, but that’s what you sacrifice when buying a mid-range phone.
CONNECTIVITY- Dell Aero provides some descent connectivity options by providing Wi-Fi, 3g, Bluetooth 2.0, and a micro Usb port.
CONCLUSION-Although, the Dell aero covers a good hardware ground, but runs on an outdated version of android. So, we will recommend you to first consider other Smartphones in India of same price range in the market running on the latest android versions. It is really highly priced and at this range you have better options like HTC Wildfire and LG Optimus P500.

Nokia E6 Vs Nokia C7 is a battle between two touch screen smart phones, one with a full size QWERTY keyboard and the other also having a touch screen interface. I think it will more be a battle of looks than the features when it comes to choosing between the two. To make your job easier we have compared the important features and specifications of both these devices.
Looks and Size:
Nokia C7 in India has a pebble-esque look with nicely curved edges and a large screen. The surface is a combination of metal and plastic and gives you a very firm hold. The shinny looks and super glossy fascia is bound to impress one and all. The phone weighs merely 130g. Nokia E6 in India on the other hand has more of a sturdy look but still elegant in its way. It is an extension to their business smart phones so the look is not really aimed to be attractive; rather it’s more on the business phone side. The phone hold nice and firm in hand and raised keys makes typing a pleasure. The phone weighs only 133g. Both the phones have got the looks and it really your preference whether you choose the business style or the one that is funkier.
Display:
Nokia C7 features AMOLED capacitive touch screen with 16M color. It has a giant 3.5 inch screen with a resolution of 360*480.Nokia E6 on the other hand has TFT capacitive touchscreen with 16M color support, 480*640 resolution and screen size of 2.46 inch, something that you would expect in a design with full QWERTY keyboard but the punchy and vibrant colors are class apart especially when fascia is turned from reflective mirror to a bright AMOLED display which gives C7 a slight advantage on the display front. Due to the presence of Touch and Type feature, my vote goes to Nokia E6 in this case.
Camera:
Both the smart phones feature 8MP camera with resolution of 3264*2448 and autofocus and dual LED. We are talking of Nokia devices here so the camera performance is more likely to be the same. Both phones are able to record HD 720p video at 25fps and also feature a 0.3MP front camera.
Processor and OS:
C7 features a 680 MHz ARM 11 processor running on the symbian 3 OS. The processing power of E6 is slightly lesser with 600Mhz processor but features a 2D/3D graphics HW accelerator and the latest Nokia anna OS which gives it a slight advantage over C7.
Storage:
The storage capacity of both the phone is same with internal storage capacity of 8GB, 256MB of RAM, 512MB ROM and microsd card support up to 32GB.
Other features:
E6 may be aimed to be a business smart phone but the most of the features that it offers are also available in C7 like the quick office document viewer, adobe reader, voice command and predictive text input. Both phones also provide excellent entertainment and connectivity features. So as it turns out the looks of these Nokia devices is what is going to be a deciding factor when you are looking to choice between the two.
Conclusion:

QWERTY Mobiles in India have gained a nice popularity. Started by Blackberry and almost every brand has their range of Qwerty phones in India. In this post we are going to compare two very nice Qwerty phones one is Symbian based Nokia E5 and the other one is Android based Samsung Galaxy Pro B7510. Both these phones have done a good business in Indian mobile market and they are at almost the same price range of Rs.10,000. So I think, it will be a good idea to explore the advantages and disadvantages of these two phones over each other.
Operating System:
Samsung Galaxy Pro B7510 is a Android 2.2 Froyo Mobile Phone where as Nokia E5 is Symbian based phone. I don't think i need to tell you more w.r.t to the OS, Clearly Android is a far better OS than Symbian. So here the vote goes to Galaxy Pro (+1 for Galaxy Pro)
Processor:
Galaxy Pro has a MSM7227-1 Turbo 800 MHz processor and E5 has ARM 11 600 MHz processor. Galaxy pro is again the winner as it has a better processor and it also has a better OS, so the combination of both makes it the winner again. (+2 for Pro)
Display and Screen:
Galaxy Pro has a 2.8" TFT Display with 320 x 240 Pixel resolution which supports 256k Colors and E5 has a 2.36" QVGA 320 x 240 Pixels display with 256k colors. So display wise both the phones are moreover same.Galaxy Pro is a Touch and Type, i.e. it has a Capacitive touchscreen as well as QWERTY Keypad whereas E5 has Qwerty Keypad only. (+3 for Pro)
Camera:
Galaxy Pro has a 3MP camera with QVGA Video recording and E5 has 5MP Camera with LED Flash. This is where E5 actually beats Galaxy Pro. Common man when buys a phone they look mostly for normal features likes display, camera, connectivity etc. So here this 5MP Camera will make a huge difference and I think that's one of the reasons for E5's success in Indian market. Both the mobiles however does not support Video calling. (+1 for E5)
Battery:
Galaxy Pro has 1350 mAh Li-Ion with 6 Hours 3G talk time and 11 hours 2G talktime. E5 has 1200 mAh Li-Ion battery with 5 Hours 3G talk time and 13 Hours 2G talk time. Here, relying on the battery life and battery performance of Nokia i think E5 has a better battery back up. I will suggest don't just go on 1350 or 1200, there are many other factors which finally decides the battery life. Nokia has always been better in terms of battery life. (+2 for E5)
Connectvity:
Galaxy Pro and E5 both has GPRS, EDGE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and Micro USB. So they are at par here.
Memory:
Galaxy Pro has 160 MB Internal memory and expandable up to 32 GB and E5 has 256 MB Internal memory and expandable up to 32GB. Not much a of a difference here, Galaxy pro has less internal memory but it is compensated by nice processing power of Android.
Audio and Video:
Galaxy Pro supports MP3, AAC, AAC+, eAAC+, WMA Audio formats and has Stereo FM Radio. It supports MPEG4, H.263, H.264, WMV, RV, DivX, Xvid Video formats. E5 supprts mp3, AAC, AAC+, eAAC+, WMA audio formats. It supports MP4 Video formats. However it does not matter much as there are several video players available to run almost any format. Here also they are moreover same.
Conclusion:
Galaxy Pro current price in India is Rs.9,500 and Current price of Nokia E5 is Rs.9,000. So price wise they are almost same. However based on my analysis stated above, I would like to go for Samsung Galaxy Pro for its better Operating system, Better processor and its touch and type functionality.

Huawei, Chinese electronics manufacturer unveiled their latest tablet Huawei MediaPad in Singapore. This is a global launch with the participation of its partners who worked in the making of this tablet and those are Qualcomm, Gameloft and RealNetworks.
The Latest MediaPad is introduced into the promising tablet world successfully to rub the shoulders with already popular Apple’s iPad and some more. Huawei introduced their tablet as the world’s smartest, thinnest, lightest and cheapest tablet. Qualcomm’s 1.2GHz Snapdragon processor used in this tablet, which is the first tablet to be powered through this processor. This MediaPad runs on Android 3.2 Honeycomb OS. Android has made v3.2 exclusively for 7-inch tablets and same is going to power this latest tablet too.
