4. Nokia E6
Nokia E6 is a business smart phone from Nokia that also has the privilege to be their first phone running the new Anna OS. E6 has a full QWERTY keyboard and a touch screen to go with it. Recently Nokia launched few Dual SIM Phones in India. Since Nokia is losing out in the high range mobile market because of Android Era, Nokia took a smart step to capture the mid range and low range mobile market in India. Since the major mobile market of India lies within that range. Nokia Dual SIM Mobile Phones are quite decent and very much reliable than the ones released by brands like Micromax, Karbonn etc. Nokia currently has 4 dual SIM Mobile phones available in India. This is as of September,2011. In this post we will talk in brief about each of them.
Nokia
C2-03:
Nokia C2-03 is an entry level Dual SIM phone from Nokia. It features a 2.6 inch TFT resistive touch screen, the touchscreen combination with a Dual SIM is quiet rare and to go this uniqueness we also have a sliding form factor which means that it is not just the touch but a touch and type phone with dual SIM capabilities which easy swapping and no need to reboot the phone. C2-03 features a 2MP camera and records QCIF video at 15fps. There is also Bluetooth and micro USB 2.0 connectivity and support for EDGE and GPRS. There is 10MB of internal memory and it supports memory card up to 32GB. Another good thing about the phone is its long battery life. You can enjoy up to 37 hrs of non stop music and talk up to 5 hrs continuously. The negative aspects of the phone are no screen brightness adjustment control and no charging off the USB. The phone though has quiet an attractive price of Rs.4,500. Read More Here

Nokia
C2-00
It is the simplest of the phones and the first look at it may bring to mind
a mid range handset from nineties but the phone actually makes a lot of sense
and is packed with decent features as well. The SIM cards are hot swappable.
You have got a music player and an FM radio with recording feature. Connect
your headphones to the 3.5mm jack. It can hold a large memory card up to 32GB.
You can transfer tons of songs and videos via micro USB 2.0 support and
Bluetooth v2.1 with A2DP.To go with all that there's is also a VGA camera with
video recording capabilities and decent battery timing. To add to the fun, you
have already embedded Nokia Messenger and Ovi chat. Nokia C2-00 is priced at Rs.2,500 only. Read More Here
Nokia
X1-01 is one from the Nokia Express music range. One can call it a Walkman with
phone features. X1-01 is quiet impressive, again at a low price you can fulfill
your needs of dual SIM working at the same time. It also offer wonderful music
player with excellent battery. You can enjoy up to 36hrs of non stop music with
Nokia X1-01. The talk time is up to 13hrs, which will definitely impress the
users as we haven't seen many dual SIM phone having that good a battery. It
also has decent calls options allowing you select the default SIM for all your
calls or setting it to ask you every time when you make the call. The phone
also supports micro SD memory card up to 32GB but what is disappointing about
the phone is no Bluetooth and USB connectivity. You can also exchange covers of
the phone. Nokia X1-01 is priced at Rs.1,850. Read More Here
Nokia 101
is somewhat a little advance than the brother Nokia 100. Nokia 101 features an
MP3 player and supports microSD memory card up to 16GB. It also has a decent
battery providing up to 8 hrs and 20 min of talk time. Again the phone does not
feature the GPRS connectivity. It is priced around Rs.1,600. The little Dual
SIM babies, Nokia 100 and 101 are also extremely easy to carry weighing just
69.9g. Read More Here

In a bid to hold the fort in low range mobile phones market in India, Nokia recently launched their cheap Dual SIM Mobile phone, Nokia 101 in India. Nokia 101 is a Dual SIM GSM Mobile with basic features such as 1.8 Inch screen, FM Radio and expandable memory. It is a very basic dual SIM phone but would really be a good choice if you are just looking for a phone which only does one thing i.e. normal talking :). Nokia 101 Price in India is Rs.1,600
Size
and Design:
The phone weighs only 69.9g to start off
with. It has a compact design having a width of only 45.5mm. It is 110mm long
and 14.9mm thick. The phone is available in Phantom Black, Coral Red colors.
Display:
It features 1.8 inch TFT screen having 65K
colors support and resolution of 128 x 160. The pixel density is 114ppi.
Camera:
Camera:
We would have loved to have a camera in
here but unfortunately Nokia 101 has no place for it.
Storage
Capacity:
The internal memory can hold up to 500
contacts. What you also have is a microSD card slot that can support up to16GB
of card.
Connectivity:
What is the most disappointing aspect of
the phone is no support for GPRS. Anyways itne paise mein itna hi milega ;)
Battery:
It features a Li-Ion 1020 mAh (BL-5C) which
can provide up to 768 h of standby by time and up to 8 h 30 min of talk time.
Other
Features:
It also features a flashlight, MP3 player, Organizer

Micromax Mobiles India have launched their latest cheap touchscreen dual SIM Mobile phone called as Micromax X222. It is a very basic mobile phone with Dual SIM GSM Support, 2.4 Inch resistive touchscreen, FM Radio. Micromax X222 price in India is Rs.1,900.
Size
and Design:
MicroMax X222 is a small phone, only 92mm
long with a width of 52mm. It is 14mm in depth and weighs only 83g which is the
best part of the design even though it is not a sleek and slim one. The phone
would look like a bar of soap to many having that kind of curvatures on the
edges. But it is very much acceptable with the price tag it has. It is
available in coffee brown colour.
Display:
The touch screen is a resistive one
having resolution of 240 by 320 pixels (QVGA) with 65K colours. The
screen size is 2.4 inch. With the credit, that X222 is the first ever
touchscreen device with a price tag of less than RS 2000 I think it is a pretty
good going.
Camera:
Yes it does have a camera too. It is a VGA
one but can record videos as well. Many would say it is useless but again at
such small price if you willing to have a touch screen phone you would mind an
added camera.
Connectivity:
Micromax X222 supports GPRS class 12 and
guess what there’s also a Bluetooth go with it. There a 3.5mm jack for
connecting external headsets.
Storage capacity:
There a decent 32MB of internal memory.
Micromax X222 also has a memory card slot. It supports micro SD card up 8GB.

Vodafone Mobiles India have launched their latest Android mobile phone in India called as Vodafone Smart U8160. The Vodafone 858 Smart comes with Android 2.2 Operating system, 2.8 Inch Capacitive touchscreen, 2MP Camera, 3G Connectivity and Wi-Fi. Its price in India is Rs.6,700. At this price tag Vodafone Smart is a decent phone with decent features. This phone should be preferred over the other cheap android phones. Vodafone recently launched two phones, Vodafone Blue and Smart. Blue is really disappointing but Smart will be able to save the image a little bit, not the best of the android phones, but its still a good phone to buy in low budget.
Size and Design:
Vodafone smart is indeed a smart
phone with a smart design. The candy bar design of the phone is kind of oval
shaped, it is by no means the rectangular bar design that we often find in most
of the smart phones these days. The completely curved edge seems to be running
all around the phone from one end to the other. It is 103.8mm long not very
wide with 56.8mm width and 12.6mm of thickness. It weighs 104g which is very
much on the lighter side.
Display:
It features a TFT capacitive touch screen having QVGA 240*320
pixels of resolution. The screen size is 2.8 inches supported by 252K colours.
Having a 2.8 inch screen on a budget friendly smart phone is certainly a good
addition.
Camera:
It features only a 2MP camera with
maximum image capturing resolution of 1200*1600 pixels. Most of the smart
phones are having at least a 3MP camera; therefore a 2MP one would disappoint
many. But again with a budget friendly price tag many would find it acceptable.
Processor and OS:
It features a 524Mhz of
processor powered by Adreno GPU and runs Android 2.2(Froyo) OS.
Storage Capacity:
The internal storage capacity of
the phone is 150MB and does have a micro SD memory card support which cab be
inserted as big as 32GB.
Connectivity:
On the connectivity front we have
3G, EDGE and GPRS support. There Bluetooth v2.1 with A2DP, Wi-Fi with Wi-Fi
hotspot and micro USB 2.0 support. It also supports A-GPS with Google maps and
has 3.5mm audio jack.
Battery:
The Li-Ion 1200mAH battery is
capable of providing up to 4 hrs of talk time on 3G which is certainly not
impressive and upto 380hrs of standby on 3G.

Vodafone Mobiles India recently launched their Facebook Phone in India known as Vodafone Blue 555. This new QWERTY Mobile phone from Vodafone has been specially designed to keep you in sync with Facebook, or I would say make you facebook addict :) Anyways Vodafone Blue is a disappointment, mainly because its a 2G Phone, what is the point in making a social networking phone which does not support 3G. The slow speed of 2G will kill all your thrill about the likes, comments and shares of Facebook.
Vodafone Blue 555 comes with a QWERTY Keypad, 2.4 Inch TFT Screen, Trackpad and a 2MP Camera. As the specifications are quite ordinary, even the price is not that great. Its Price in India is Rs.4,600.
Size
and Design
From a distance you’ll find Blue 555
resembling with HTC chaca but it is infect quiet different. The QWERTY keyboard
has large buttons with hardly any space between them. The phone features the
screen in the conventional landscape format. The shape is not very curvy and
has simple built. Coming to the dimensions it is 110mm long, has width of
61.1mm and 12mm thick.
Display:
Being very much a budget facebbok phone
there’s nothing fancy about the display. It features a TFT screen with
resolution of 320 x 240 pixels and screen size of 2.4 inches .the
pixel density is167 ppi pixel.
Camera:
It features
a 2 MP, 1600x1200 pixels, with LED flash but lacks the auto focus. It
records VGA video and there aren’t any image enhancing features too. The camera
mode allows for switching to night mode, four different picture sizes and
brightness adjustment.
Processor:
Blue555 features a 200 MHz MTK 6235 processor.The
overall performance of the phone is satisfactory. It performs the task quiet
briskly.
Connectivity:
Vodafone 555 features a Bluetooth v 2.1
with A2Dp and micro USB 2.0. Unfortunately it lacks Wi-Fi which really is a
disappointing aspect of the phone. It has the EDGE and GPRS support but lacks
3G support.
Storage
Capacity:
The internal storage capacity of the phone
is 40Mb but it does support memory extension with the help of micro SD memory
card up to 32GB.
Battery:
It has 1000mAH Li-Ion battery that is capable
of providing up to 3 hours of talk time and up to 324 hours of stand by time.
The battery capability is not entirely satisfactory considering that the phone
is aimed to be social networking device.
Our Conclusion:
A Completely wasted phone. Browse for other ones :)

LG Mobiles India have announced their latest android mobile phone in India, the LG Optimus Pro C660. LG is expanding their range of android mobiles under the Optimus series exactly like Samsung is doing with their Galaxy series. The new LG Optimus Pro C660 is a Touch and Type mobile phone with 2.8 Inch Touchscreen and a QWERTY Keypad. It is an Android 2.3 based smartphone, which makes it the cheapest LG Android Mobile in India with Android 2.3 OS. It also feature 3G Connectivity, Wi-Fi , 3MP Camera and other decent features. LG Optimus Pro C660 Price in India is Rs.9,990 and it is going to make a good market for itself in the Mid-Range Android Mobiles market in India.
Size and
Design:
LG Optimus Pro is a compact QWERTY style smart
phone with a 2.8 Inch Touchscreen. We say compact as the screen in the portrait format instead
of the conventional landscape format that is often found in business style
smartphones. It is a little on the longer side, 119.5mm but you won’t feel
uncomfortable to handle as it provides you space to either use the touch screen
or the keyboard for different tasks. The width is 59.7 with total depth of
12.9mm. It weighs 129g.
Display:
It features a 2.8 inch TFT capacitive touch
screen with resolution of 240*320 pixels. The resolution is supported by 256K
colors and the pixel density is 143ppi. It also has an accelerometer for user
interface auto rotate.
Camera:
The fact that the 3 MP camera of Optimus Pro
C660 lacks the auto focus and even the LED flash is rather disappointing. The video recording is limited up to VGA at
24fps. There’s also aren’t any image enhancing features but allows for
geo-tagging.
Processor
and OS:
It features an 800 MHz processor on a Qualcomm MSM7227T
chipset and it runs the Android OS v2.3.3 (Gingerbread).
Storage
Capacity:
The internal storage capacity of the phone is
156 MB. It has 256MB of RAM and also supports memory extension up to 32GB via
micro SD memory card.
Connectivity:
Optimus Pro offers decent connectivity features with Wi-Fi
802.11 b/g/n and Wi-Fi hotspot. It also supports the 3G and Edge, features
Bluetooth v3.0 and micro USB v2.0. Optimus also has offers the A-GPS
Battery:
Its 1500mAH battery is capable of providing up
to 4 hours of talk time and up to 100 hrs of stand by time
Our Conclusion:
A decent phone to buy, One of the best phone is the market today to experience Android 2.3 at a lower price. It will give a good fight to the likes of Samsung Galaxy Fit, Galaxy Pro and Nokia E5

LG Mobiles India have launched
yet another entry level dual SIM Touchscreen mobile phone in India, the LG T515. It is a Java based Dual SIM Mobile phone with 2.8 Inch TFT Touchscreen, 2MP Camera, Wi-Fi and bluetooth. However, It lacks 3G Connectivity, which makes it less favourable in current Indian mobile market. LG T515 Price in India is Rs.5,000
Size and Design:
LG T515 comes
with a decent bar form factor; the phone is 105mm in length with edges
completely curved giving it more of a bar of soap like look. The huge screen
dominates the front view of the cell phone. The design is not the slimmest and
sleekest; T515 is about 57.5mm wide and 12.9mm in depth. However it is not the
heaviest weighing about 105g.
Display:
It features a
3.2 inch QVGA capacitive touch screen with screen resolution of 240*320 pixels
and 262K color support. The large screen makes the phone well suited to
watching videos.
Camera:
The camera is a
must feature of every cell phone these days. Even the budget smart phones are
featuring a 3MP camera with decent video recording and image enhancing
features. A 2MP camera in T515 is rather disappointing especially having no
autofocus and LED flash to go with it. It supports unlimited video recording.
There isn’t any secondary camera in the device.
Storage Capacity:
We found the
internal memory of 4GB in the device quiet encouraging, not too many budget
phones are having that much of internal memory. Greater internal memory is
probably one feature that is separating a
quality mobile manufacturer from an ordinary one as seen in the market. It
supports external memory expansion up to 32GB via SD memory card.
Connectivity:
The phone
supports dual brand GSM 900/1800 MHz meaning that it is supports dual SIMs. It
also has a Bluetooth and microUSB 2.0.
Our Opinion:
Buy this mobile only if you are planning to buy any Chinese in India box phones from Micromax, Spice, Karbonn etc. Otherwise this phone has nothing special to offer.

Motorola Mobiles India have recently launched its latest Android mobile in India with QWERTY keyboard and touchscreen, the Motorola Fire. This phone is surely going to have a good competition with exisiting QWERTY mobile phones in India. In this post we will compare Motorola Fire with Nokia's most successful QWERTY Mobile in India in recent times, i.e. Nokia E5
Size
and Design:
Both phones even though having the QWERTY
keyboard style have different designs. Nokia Eh has the screen in landscape
scape mode making the phone a little wider 59.5 mm compared to Motorola Fire
59mm having the screen encased in portrait format. Fire is also a little longer
116.5mm in contrast to 115mm E5. Nokia E5 is however slimmer than the competitor
having depth of 12.8 in comparison to 13.5mm of Fire.
Display:
Motorola Fire features a 2.8 inch TFT
capacitive touchscreen having a resolution of 240*320 pixels with 262K color
support. The 2.36 inch screen of Nokia E5 is not a touchscreen having a
resolution of 320*240 with same 256K color support. Motorola Fire with its
touch and type feature and bigger screen is the winner here.
Camera:
Fire comes with a 3.15MP camera with out
the touch focus and LED flash whereas Nokia E5 is equipped with a 5MP camera
with LED flash but also lacking the autofocus. Fire camera is able to record
video with maximum resolution of 480p at 24fps compared to 15fps VGA video
recording in E5. Nokia E5 having a better camera wins this battle.
Processor and OS:
Motorola Fire features a 600 MHz ARM
11 processor powered by Adreno 200 GPU on Qualcomm MSM7227-1 chipset and runs
the android OS 2.3(Gingerbread). Nokia E5 also comes with a 600MHz Arm 11
processor running the Symbian OS v9.3. Motorola Fire with Android OS has a lot
more to offer when it comes to apps, again giving it a slight edge over Nokia
E5.
Storage Capacity:
Motorola Fire has 256MB of RAM and 512MB ROM whereas E5 has
250MB of internal memory and 256MB of RAM. Both phones support memory extension
up to 32GB via micro SDMC.
Connectivity:
There is nothing much to choose from between the on
connectivity front with both having Bluetooth, Wi-FI, micro USB2.0 and 3G
support.
Conclusion:
Nokia E5 is better in terms of only the Camera, which I think is not the most important feature of a mobile phone. Motorola Fire excels in terms of processor and hardware. Motorola Fire should no doubt be the choice in this case.
Price in India:
Both the phones are in the range of Rs.9000 as of September 2011. The prices may change by the time you read this post.

At a Launch event at London HTC has launched
a couple of new smartphones: HTC Radar and HTC Titan, running the Microsoft’s
latest OS called the Mango. This will bolster up the struggling Microsoft that
is finding it hard to get a decent market share from Apple iOS and Google
Android. With this launch HTC now becomes the second company to feature the Mango
OS in its smart phones after Fujitsu Toshiba mobile communications announced
the same for their IS12T. The smart phones will be available to
HTC and Microsoft fans across Asia and Europe from the next month. Here we have
reviewed HTC Radar on multiple fronts to give you a
glimpse about this new Microsoft Mango OS based smart phone from HTC.
Size and Design:
HTC mobile usually feature innovative designs
with premium materials and Radar is no different. Similarly like the Desire and
Sensation it features moulded aluminium body. Radar doesn’t have the slimmest
of design infect it is a decently large device being 120.5mm long, 61.5mm wide
and10.9mm in depth.
Display:
It features a 3.8 inch S-LCD capacitive TFT
touchscreen having the resolution of 400*800 pixels and 16M colour support. The
pixel density is 246ppi which is on the higher side so you can expect the display
to be quiet sharp. The display is a gorilla glass one and it features
multi-touch input method, there’s a also proximity sensor for auto turn-off, accelerometer
for auto rotate and gyroscope sensor.
Camera:
It comes with a 5MP autofocus camera with F2.2 Lens, LED
flash, the maximum image resolution is 2592*1944pixels. It record HD 720p video
at 30fps. There is also a secondary VGA camera in the phone.
Processor and OS:
Radar features 1
GHz Scorpion processor powered by Adreno 205 GPU on a Qualcomm MSM8255 Snapdragon
chipset and runs Microsoft Mobile Windows 7 OS (Mango).
Storage Capacity:

Spice Mobiles have recently launched
there new dual SIM touchscreen mobile phone called the Spice M6900. The phone is equipped with
a 3.5 Inch touchscreen and decent features. It is a Dual SIM Mobile phone with No 3G. On the connectivity front, it features Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Edge, GPRS. Spice M-6900 Price in India is Rs.5,000. Personally I do not see a point in buying a Rs.5000 phone which doesn't have 3G. When whole of the India is "Buzy in 3G", then I don't think they would like to spend Rs.5000 for a Spice phone and that too with no 3G. However if you are looking for a touchscreen phone with Dual SIM, then this phone is kind of OK. But overall it is somewhat disappointing.
Size
and Design:
M6900 has the block form factors that cases
a big touchscreen that dominates the front view of the cell phone. It looks
like a sold bar with straight edges having a design as simple as it gets but
yet elegant. The phone is 11.6mm in depth and 116mm long and 62.5mm wide. It
weighs 167g though which is surely on the heavier side especially considering
the light weight designs that have been the priority of many cell phone
manufacturers these days.
Display:
It features an 3.5 Inch HVGA capacitive
touchscreen. Spice claims the touch screen to be very responsive with sharp colours.
The screen resolution is 320*480 pixels. It also features the proximity sensor
which turns the display off when you are listening to the call to save battery.
Camera:
It features a 3.2MP camera with out the LED
flash. The performance under low light conditions will certainly be weak and
there is also no auto focus. The phone also lack image enhancing features but
there aremultishot, photo CLI and night vision modes. It can record unlimited
video at 15fps. The camera can also be turned in to a webcam.
Storage
Capacity:
It has 39Mb of internal storage capacity
being able to save 2000 contacts and 1000 sms. The memory however can be
extended via micro SD memory card up 8GB.
Connectivity:
It has almost all the necessary
connectivity features like the WAP, GPRS, Bluetooth, WI-FI and micro USB 2.0.
Battery:
The 1400MAh battery is capable of providing
up to 18 days of stand by time and up to 565 minutes of talk time.
