LG Optimus Hub E510 Review in India

LG Mobiles India recently launched its latest Android based smartphone in India, the LG Optimus Hub E510. Optimus Hub is a Android smartphone with a 800 Mhz processor, Android 2.3 OS, 5 MP Camera, 3.5 Inch Capacitive touchscreen and excellent connectivity features. It features a TFT capacitive touchscreen, withresolution 320 x 480 pixels and 256K colors. The screen size is3.5 inches andthe pixel density is165 ppi. The display is gorilla glasses and it features theAccelerometer sensor for UI auto-rotate, Proximity sensorfor auto turn-off and Optimus 2.0 UI. Having a 3.5 inch screen on a budgetfriendly smart phone is certainly an attractive feature.

Sizeand Design:
LG Optimus Hub has the simplest of the designlike the Optimus One. Hub is 113.4mm long 60.8 mm wide and has depth of 11.9 mm.It is completely a rectangular bar with hardly any curve in the edges.

It features a 5 MP with maximum imageresolution of  2592 x 1944 pixels and autofocusIt also features the Geo-tagging, face and smile detection and a new featurecalled Beauty Shot. Unfortunately it is not able to record HD video, the videorecording is limited to VGA at 24fps.

Processorand OS:

Hub features an 800 MHz ARM v6 processor with Adreno200 GPU on a Qualcomm MSM7227T chipset. It runs the Android OS version2.3.4(Gingerbread).


The internal storage capacity of the phone is150 MB. There’s a RAM of 512 MB the extension in external memory is supported up to 32GB via micro SD memory card.


Optimus Hub has the 3g, EDGE and A GPSsupport. It features Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n with DLNA for networking andWi-Fi hotspot. Bluetooth 3.0 with A2DP and micro USB 2.0.


It features Stereo FM radio and support forJAVA applications. The Social networking apps are already integrated so as theGoogle search, Maps and Gmail, Youtube and Google talk.There is also a digital compass.
