LG announced threeOptimus L-series phones at the recently concluded MWC. These include L3, L5and L7 phones. LG L3 is configured with AndroidOs v2.3 (Gingerbread),800 Mhz Processor,3.15 MP Camera,Wi-Fi and many more.Here we take a look at LG Optimus L3.
Size and Design:
LG optimus L3 features very much the conventional designthat most of the Optimus series phones from LG has. It is 11.7mm thick, has awidth of 61.6mm wide and 102.6mm long.
It features a 3.2 inch TFT capacitive touchscreen having aresolution of 240 x 320 pixels. The pixel density is 125ppi. The display is notof very high quality but on a budget phone that is usually not the priority. Italso supports multi touch.
It features a 3.15 MP auto focus camera having the maximumimage recording resolution of 2048×1536 pixels. Unfortunately there is no flashhowever it is capable of recording decent quality video. There is no place fora secondary camera.
Processor and OS:
The processing power of the phone is 800 Mhz like many midrange smart phones around. It runs the Android Os v2.3 (Gingerbread).
It features support for EDGE and Wi-Fi following theWi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n standards with Wi-Fihotspot There is Bluetooth v2.1 with A2DP and micro USB 2.0 support.
The internal storage capacity of the phone is 1GB. There is384MB of RAM to go with it and there is a micro SD memory card slot supportingup to 32GB.
The phone has standard, Li-Ion 1500 mAh battery. The battery life of the phone is notyet revealed by the manufacturer.
It features Stereo FM radio, supports Java apps with MIDPemulator. Optimus L3 is available in Black and white colors.
