Samsung Galaxy Fit Vs HTC Explorer

Two very much balanced droids go head to head in this fightbetween HTC and Samsung. Here,I am going to compare Galaxy Fit and HTCExplorer, the two androids phones within the same range. Both are very similar infeatures, but there is always some pros and cons.So I decided to compare thesetwo Android Smartphones.Let’s take a detailed look inside to find out which ofthe two has a slightest of advantage.
Size and Design:
The looks of both the phones very much resemble each otherand even they weigh the same 108 gram. Galaxy Fit has the depth of 12.6mmcompared to Explorer’s 12.9. HTC explorer is a little compact having 57.2mm ofwidth and 102.8mm of length compared to 61.2mm width and 110.2mm length ofGalaxy Fit.

HTC Explorer features 3.2 inches a TFT capacitive touchscreen having a resolution of 320 x 480 pixels with 256K color support. Itfeatures the HTC Sense UI 3.5. The display however is not the sharpest having apixel density of just 180ppi. Galaxy fit has a 3.3 TFT capacitive touch screen resolutionof  240 x 320 pixels and 65K colorsupport the pixel density is just 121ppi. So a slight advantage to Explorer inthe display front

HTC explorer features a 3.15MP camera having a resolution of2048x1536 pixels compared to 5MP camera with autofocus in Galaxy Fit. Exploreris able to record 480p video whereas Galaxy Fit record QVGA video at 15fps.Clearly higher resolution camera in Galaxy Fit makes it the winner here.

Storage Capacity:
The internal storage capacity of Explorer is 90MB comparedwith 160MB in Samsung Galaxy. The external memory in both the phones can beextended up to 32GB.

Processor and OS:
Both phones are powered by 600Mhz processor but Explorerruns the newer Android OS v2.3 (Gingerbread) whereas Samsung Galaxy Fit featuresAndroid OS, v2.2 (Froyo) but never the less it can be upgraded to v2.3.

HTC explorer features EDGE and 3G support, it follows Wi-Fi802.11 b/g/n, standards and comes with Wi-Fi Hotspot.. The Bluetooth version is3.0 with A2Dp and EDR and micro USB 2.0 support. Sasmung Galaxy Fit has thesame specification except that it features Bluetooth v2.1.

HTC Explorer features Li-Ion 1230 battery providing standbytime up to 445h and talk time up to 7h and 33min whereas 1350mAH battery ofGalaxy Fit is capable of providing 421h of standby time and up to 6h and 40 minof talk time.

From the above discussion Galaxy Fit comes out as a winner as it has better sensor, battery than HTC Explorer on the other hand HTC Explorer has a better screen.
