The hotly anticipated HTC one trio finally makes its way to the Europeon market on April the 2nd. HTC One series comes with two flagship devices, HTC ONE S and X and the mid range ONE V. However all three devices will be running the Google Android Ice Cream Sandwitch OS and on 1.5GHZ Processor speed. Here we take a look at the features and specifications of HTC One S.
HTC ONE S is the most sleek and slim phone of the series having a depth of just 7.8mm. It has a width of 65mm and is 130.9mm long. The phone weighs just 119.5g. Along with the touch screen navigation it also featurs Touch Sensitive controls.
It features 4.3 inch Super AMOLED capacitive touch screen with 16M colors having a resolution of 540 x 960 pixels. The display is not as sharp as that of HTC ONE X but still of high quality having a pixel density of 256ppi. The screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass and powered HTC Sense UI.
It comes with an 8MP camera having a resolution of 3264×2448 pixels. The camera features autofocus, LED flsah, simultaneous HD video and image recording, face and smile detections and geo tagging. It is capable of recording 1080p video @ 30fps with stereo sound and video stabilization The phone also has a secondry VGA camera.
Processor and OS:
The processing power of this feature packed device is 1.5GHZ featuring a Krait processor with Adreno 225 GPU and Qualcomm MSM8260A Snapdragon Chipset. The phone runs the latest Android OS, v4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwitch).
HTC ONE S comes with the most advance connectiviy features with Bluetooth, v4.0, Wi-Fi Direct, DLNA and Wi-Fi Hotspot features and micro USB v 2.0
The internal Storage capacity of the phone is 16 and doesn’t feature a memory card slot. There is 1 GB of RAM.
It features a 1650mAh battery that is capble of providing up to 7 hours of talk time and up to 18 days of stand by time.
