HTC has released there new entry level smart phone called the HTC C featuring the ICE Cream Sandwich and toting audio beats. Also came along a big surprise, the inclusion of HTC sense UI 4.0 on the entry level smart phone. Here a look at what’s inside the smart phone in terms of specification and features.
Size and Design:
HTC desire features a very elegant design even though it is an entry level smart phone from HTC. The phone is slim and stylish weighing just a 100g and only 12.3mm thick. It has a nice firm hold and features touch sensitive controls.
It features a 3.5 inch TFT capacitive touch screen with a 16M color support and a resolution of 320 x 480 pixels. The display is not too bad with a pixel density of 165ppi. It features multi touch and is powered by HTC sense UI v4.0
It features a 5MP camera having a resolution of 2592 x 1944 pixels with auto focus but no LED flash. There aren’t any image enhancing features in the camera. However, you are able to geo-tag the photos. It is capable of recording very decent quality video but lacks a secondary camera.
Processor and OS:
It features Android OS v4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) coupled with a 600 MHz processor on Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset.
It follows IEEE standards of Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n featuring Wi-Fi Hotspot. It also features Bluetooth v4.0 with A2DP and micro USB v2.0. It also provides GPS connectivity with A-GPS and optional NFC connectivity.
The internal storage capacity of the phone is 4GB with 512MB of RAM. Memory card slot allows for memory extension up to 32GB.
The phone comes with a Standard Li-Ion 1230mAH battery. There aren’t any claims about the battery performance yet.
The phone is available in some adorable colors like Polar white, Flamenco Black and stealth Black. It has already integrated Google Maps, Mail and search features along with Google Talk and Youtube.
