Motorola has launched a couple of new mid range cell phone in India named Defy XT and Defy Mini. The defy series smart phones are water resistant and perfectly suited for the environment in the country. Here we are going to discuss about the defy XT which has got some intriguing features. Size and Design:
The phone has a candy bar form featuring a very compact and stylish design. It has cuby edges but weighs just 118gram. The phone is Dust and water resistant hence a very good device for someone rough user looking to have a stylish smart phone. The phone has a rugged built and is 13.4mm thick. The design is perfectly suited for some extreme usage.
It features a 3.7 inch TFT capacitive touchscreen with 16M colors having a pixel density of 256ppi. It is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass and Powered by the Moto switch 2.0 UI with live widgets. The phone features MultiTouch and Touch Sensitive controls.
Motorola Defy has a 5MP camera having a resolution of 2592 x 1944 pixels with auto focus and LED flash. It features image stabilization and geo-tagging. It is capable of recording VGA video @ 30fps.

It features Android OS version 2.1 (Eclair) coupled with an 800 Mhz Cortex A8 processor powered by PowerVR SGX530 GPU. The OS is upgradable to Froyo.
