Samsung Galaxy note Vs Samsung Galaxy S3 is a battle between two big smart phones. They are not only big when in comes to size but also feature wise. Both phones are equipped with the latest features and hardware. Let us compare the two and see which comes on top.
Size and Design:
Samsung Galaxy Note is the largest sized smart phone to have entered the market. Its size lies between a smart phone and a tablet. It weighs 178 g but quiet slim with 9.7mm of thickness. Samsung Galaxy S on the other hand is much more compact and portable weighing just about 133g and 8.6mm of depth. Galaxy Note seems more on an experiment from Samsung but Galaxy S3 does have a very good design.
Galaxy Note features a huge 5.3 Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen but Samsung Galaxy S3 is not far behind with a 4.8 inch Super AMOLED. Both of them are powered by TouchWiz UI 4.0 Samsung Galaxy has a slightly higher pixel density and therefore a slightly sharper display compared to Galaxy Note.
There is not a lot to choose between the two phones here. Both features 8MP autofocus camera with LED flash having a resolution of 3264×2448 pixel. Both camera feature image stabilization, touch focus, geo-tagging and face and smile detection. They are capable of recording 1080p video @ 30fps. Galaxy Note has a 2MP secondary camera while Galaxy S3 has 1.9MP secondary camera.
Both phones are available in 16 and 32GB internal memory version. Samsung Galaxy S3 also comes in 64 GB version. There is 1 GB of RAM in both the phones and external memory can be extended up to 32GB in Galaxy Note and 64GB in Galaxy S3..
Galaxy Note features a Standard Li-Ion 2500mAH battery capable of providing up to 820hrs of standby time and up to 13h and 30 min of talk time on 3G network. While Galaxy S3 features a Standard 2100 mAh Li-Ion battery that is capable of providing up to 790hrs of standby time and up to 11h and 40 min of talk time on 3G. So Samsung Galaxy Note has a slight advantage here.
