Samsung Galaxy Chat has been launched in India at a price tag of Rs.8490 with online retailers. Now, the Galaxy Chat isn’t a successor of the so called Galaxy Y Pro and family but yes, it is inspired by them in a way. The Samsung Galaxy Chat is a Touch-Type QWERTY smartphone targeted at the masses who find it pretty awkward to type on a virtual keypad and also to those who text a lot. Some of you will offend me (BB Boys) when I say that this is the most efficient chatting device in this price range with a bonus of being a Smartphone as It runs on Android 4.0 with Samsung’s Nature UX on top of it.
Samsung Galaxy Chat features a 3″ screen with a resolution of 240×320 pixels which leaves it with a low pixel density of 133ppi. It has a 2 MegaPixel camera with video recording @25fps. Samsung Galaxy Chat has an Internal memory of 4GB which is further expandable to 32GB via Micro-SD Card. The Ice-Cream Sandwich smartphone runs on an 850Mhz processor coupled with a 512MB RAM which can be ignored to the fact that it is a budget smartphone.
Samsung Galaxy Chat also has the usual set of sensors and wireless technology associated with Smartphones. It has a Standard Li-Ion 1200 mAh battery which will be sufficient for normal usage.
