While a brand like HTC that is too busy to say anything about budget smartphones, and does more of the effort on flagships has done something prolific about this segment. The smartphone maker has launched a budget dual-SIM smartphone named, Desire 310 which is solely aimed at the low-end consumers in India.
The Desire 310 is not a bad attempt for sure considering that it has been priced at Rs.11,700. It is loaded with pretty decent configuration combining 4.5 inches IPS Capacitive touchscreen 480 x 854 pixels, 5 megapixel HD camera, 512 MB of primary memory, a faster Quad-core MediaTek MT6582M processor, 4GB of internal storage. The battery is a standard Li-Ion 2000 mAh sufficient enough to make the smartphone perform long a day. It runs on Jelly Bean 4.2 which also supports BlinkFeed that is a nice thing to see.
Desire 300 comes in Blue, White & Red variants which is quite attractive to youth phenomenon. The pricing of the smartphone is also a major factor in the selling shares. Priced at Rs. 11,700; this smartphone perfectly fits in the budget brackets of the Indian consumers. Let’s see if it successfully make it to the triumph when stern opponents like Motorola’s blockbuster Moto G, Nokia Lumia 525 are still churning money by overselling themselves.
